Shipping Policy
At Rockrose Clay Co., we take pride in fulfilling each order with care and precision. Below you’ll find all the details on our order processing, shipping methods, and what to expect once your package is on its way.
Processing Time & Working Hours
Our fulfillment hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM Pacific Time. Orders are processed in the order they are received. Orders placed before 12 PM PST on business days begin processing the same day. Orders placed after 12 PM PST, on weekends, or holidays begin processing the next business day.
For clay cutters and tools, please allow 3–5 business days for processing. In-stock handmade jewelry typically ships within 1–3 business days. If your order includes both jewelry and clay tools, we’ll ship everything together once the full order is ready—usually within 5 business days.
Shipping Options (U.S.)
At checkout, you can select from a variety of USPS and UPS shipping methods. USPS options include Ground Advantage (2–5 business days), Priority Mail (1–3 business days), and Priority Mail Express (1–2 business days). UPS options include Ground, 3 Day Select, 2nd Day Air, and Next Day Air for faster delivery.
Please note: the shipping method selected only affects transit time, not the processing time of your order.
International Shipping (Canada)
We currently offer shipping to Canada via USPS First Class Package International, Priority Mail International, and Priority Mail Express International. We also offer DHL Express Worldwide for faster, trackable delivery. Shipping costs are calculated and displayed at checkout based on the method and destination.
Customs Duties & Taxes:
Your order may be subject to import duties, VAT, or other taxes as determined by Canadian customs. These charges are not included in the order total or shipping cost and must be paid by the recipient upon delivery. Rockrose Clay Co. is not responsible for customs or import fees.
Last Mile Delivery Fees:
Additional delivery charges (such as handling or remote area surcharges) may be imposed by the carrier. These are also the responsibility of the recipient and are not included at checkout.
If you have questions about customs or delivery fees, we recommend contacting the Canada Border Services Agency or your local courier.
Tracking & Delivery
Once your order ships, you’ll receive a tracking number via email so you can monitor its progress. Most packages are picked up the next business day after the shipping label is printed. Please allow 24–48 hours for tracking updates to appear.
Shipping carriers occasionally experience delays, especially during peak times or inclement weather. While we do our best to provide accurate delivery estimates, once your order is in transit, we cannot guarantee delivery dates.
Lost or Returned Packages
If your tracking status shows “delivered” but your package can’t be located, we recommend checking with neighbors or your local post office first. If a package is returned to us, a new shipping label must be purchased before reshipment. Shipping charges are non-refundable.
